My 2 Cents

OMGoodness! I absolutely loved the movie. I thought it was a good visual to the book. Yeah it wasn't dead on but what movie made off a book is. I will say that all the close ups kinda bothered me. But I loved it none the less. Lol did anyone but me realize that Bella was a vegetarian in the movie. If you pay attention she only eats vegetables. LOL thought it was great!

TWILIGHT

Yea!! TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!! Twilight the movie has came out and as a gift I received 2 tickets to tonight's showing! I know its a silly movie but I have been SUPER depressed lately and this movie and books have kinda brought me out of it. I even made a shirt and a count down on my door! LOL I'm a goober with WAY to much time! Mine is in pink (duh) and Barry is the blue one. I was going to put on there "I'm just here for the popcorn." but my sewing machine went wacky and I got mad at it so i stopped and asked Barry what he wanted it to say. We laughed so hard last night. Mine I don't really like it but I couldn't figure out what I wanted it to say so i went with a quote. I couldn't remember my favorite one so I looked online and this was the one that I liked the most. It says "I'm not done kissing you yet. Don't make me come over there." Only because I say this to Barry just playing with him sometimes. I'm so giddy today I feel like I'm in high school again when I went to a N 'SYNC concert! SO I will write when I get home to say my 2 cents! Love you!

My frist Apple pie

So the other day I was watching the foodnet work channel (that's all I ever do anymore) and they were making apple pie. Well it got me thinking, I wanted to make one. SO the adventure began! Wow was it ever an event to make. I had a blast tho. I was getting pretty angry with the dough but later I found out that it suppose to do the things that drove me crazy! I bake it and wow it was beautiful and SOOO Tasty! it was Awesome. It was one of those that when you bit into it you say MMMMM! I am so glad I found that recipe! But i took a picture so that you all could see my first apple pie.



Also Barry wants to have fish recipes and would like you to post some if you have any. Thanks guys and love you!

Birthday plans

Ok so i want to have a costume ball for my 25th birthday. I figure that I am quarter a century old so I might as well make it memorable...right? Well my birthday is in January and I have always wanted to have a costume party so I thought why now do it for my birthday...Happy Birthday to me lol! Were we live has a rec center and you can rent it and since the head person is my Nan-in-law I could get it super easy. I just am not sure how to go about planing it. If you have any ideas please share! I want to do it as cheap as possible. But I really would like to have advice. I think I might make it a theme like fairy tales or something like that. I want to be a fairy because I have TONS of formal gowns and BIG pretty butterfly wings. I don't know we'll see.

My Day

Today we went for a hike at Southeastway Park. These are some of the pictures! I love nature in the fall! The tree next to this paragraph is the coolest tree ever! It looks like an elbow! We took Pictures next to it! I love it! We also came across a snake. It was funny. Mom seen it and then went "Oh My God"! Then I looked at it and went "OH MY THAT'S A SNAKE!" then I ran the other way then stopped so I could take a picture! It was absolutely funny! Sorry I haven't wrote in a while we have dial up and it S....L...O....W...! I also have some pictures of a really good movie that is upcoming! God has been so good to Barry and I. We still are living with his parents and kinda have rough stuff happening. But we have assistance for food and he may have a job where he used to work. We are just waiting for his application to go through. I hope that this time everything works out right. We continue to try and shine our light for his parents. But I don't know if its making a difference! Well I love everyone of you and I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

I am so excited about this movie! I can't wait to see it!

In My New Home

Hiya everyone. I am not in my new home. Well kinds. The old house still needs to be emptied out more but it's going to take some time. Well I love the nature out here. i love the little chipmunks and all the other little creatures you see. I must say that since I was born without an internal compass I get lost super easy and I can't get to the same spot more then once. It doesn't help that barry never takes me the same way. He says that he is helping me learn my way. I say he's confussing me! Its all good though. His parents are super nice for letting us move in with them. Oh my cat is loving it to. He and the other cat are really sure about eachother but they are atleast letting eachother be for the time. I still have to find a way to get my fish out there. Oh well.

Well I gotta book it we are going to watch Barry's cousin play football. Thats a whole other story that could use prayer. Well Love you all!

Its been awhile

Wow has is been a while and it has been a very trying past month. Where to start. I don't want to get to personal and tell to much so this is a brief summery. Lets see it all started when Barry went back to work and quit. Then he got a new job back at where he use to work before we got married. He went to work on that Monday and the next day he got REALLY sick. Because of him being sick we now have a HUGE debt. He didn't go to work for a week then was on very strick lifting limitations. So his work fired him. So we have to move out with his parents house cause we can no longer afford the house. Then someone poisoned my cat and I had to put him down. On top of that before he lost his job I put in my notice to quit work. Cause we were going to move to away. So as of this Friday neither one of us have a job.

K that was REAL brief. But I am not writing this to complain. God has been with me EVERY step of the way. I admit there has been a few times that I just wanted to throw my hand up and just quit. But God gave me the strength to walk it out. He has also given me songs to help me through the really tough times. I still need prayer. I have never moved my entire life. It is going to be tough on me but with God's never ending love and compassion I can make it through. I wanted to share one of the songs god gave me this week. I had a wonderful day!

We did a TON today. We started around 11 and didn't end until like 9. My house has bushes in front that line the house and the sidewalk. Well Barry and his dad decided to remove 3 of them. It kinda looks not very good but it will after we work with the area. Then we pulled the fence out of the back where the dog kennel was. I had a dog but had to get rid of him cause the neighbors wouldn't leave us alone about him. I was sad! But I had a great day with my mother-in-law and my papa-in-law. Then when they left Barry was harassing me and I mad him dry off with a DUCKY towel. it was absolutely funny! Here are some pictures to show what I was talking about!

I NEED TO GET TO BED

That's am by the way. I just feel really burdened and can't sleep. My mom is fine too. But today while out at Barry's parents house we found out that his car is going bad and it will cast 500+ to fix it! Not gonna happen. Plus I got home and found that my cat had been hurt and had a very bad cut and a nice goose egg on his head above his eye. That I think bothered me more then the car. Sushi, my cat, means a lot to me. My mom got him for me about a month after my dad died cause she was trying to cheer me up. It looks better now but it still is pretty nasty! And smelly which is what scares me. Then I had to pick my friend up at the airport and that would be that bad but she landed at 11:14 when she was suppose to land at 10:30. Thank god johnny and Jackie let us use their car. Ours would have died and probably not started or got us to her house to drop her off. I just feel like we can't get ahead not matter what we do. I just need prayer. I am really down and depressed. It just seems like everything is going wrong right now and I can't get control of anything.

Well I love you all and I don't mean to be a downer but who better to talk to then the brethren.

Pray for my mom please

My mom, Sis Frankie, needs your prayers. Her heart will some times beat to another drummers drum if you get what I mean. It is skip beats and speed up and "flutter" is what she says it feels like. Well normally she only has an "episode" for about 5 or so hours well its going on 27 hours and it is still fluttering. She does feel a little better but still needs all the prayer she can get! I really appreciate it!

You may see a chair...

To you its just a chair and a table but to me its a blessing. Why you ask. Because it took prayer to get the paint to paint the chair. I had great conversations with the brethren while decorating the table and chair. And there are many a more brethren to sit and use these. So to me its a blessing! I hope you like!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for us. Barry starts work of Monday! He really doesn't want to go back but he understands he needs to. Also Barry's mom is OK and make it through the surgery. She is in a LOT of pain so continue to pray for her! Thanks y'all
